The Smylist Academy is the educational wing of Smylist Ltd. It gives all kinds of educational platforms, lectures, workshops and conferences worldwide. Smylist Academy is based in Budapest, Hungary as the center of the education process. The Smylist Academy was creaeted with the sole objective of spreading the Smylist concept throughout the world. The Smylist Academy is governed and controlled by the head office which is centered in Budapest, Hungary which is headed by Dr.Maria Csillag, the founder and creator of the Smylist concept. She is the President International and is the head of all country chapters that currently exist and those that will be formed in the future. She is assisted by Dr. Ajay Kakar who functions as the Executive Director of the Academy and assists and aids in planning and executing Smylist programs around the world. The Smylist Academy has full plans to evolve into a major training ground for all dentists worldwide. Even though based in Hungary, educational programs will take place all over the world.

The Smylist Academy imparts education on the Smylist concept in various formats. The basic intensive program is the four day workshop. In this worskhop dentists are trained from scratch on the Smylist concept. The workshop has didactics, demonstrations and live hands on experiece in diagnosis and treatment planning. All delegates are taught how to deprogram the mandible and are made to do live cases. A full demonstration is done on the Smylist Aesthetic Software and all participants create virtual smiles on the software for patients. The necessary photographic documentation is also taught to all participants. The four day workshop is restricted to a maximum of 20 participants. The ideal number is 15.
There is also an avanced two day vertical program which is open only to existing Smylist dentists. Other than this, Smylist also conducts half day workshops for larger groups. The Academy also has plans for a bi-ennial Smylist conference. The first one will be in Budapest. Country chapters can bid for subsequent events.
